First TV appearance, 4th January 2000 .
Two firsts for the Gruesome Twosome, Tristram and Candy. They were the stars of both the first story in the first Grizzly Tales book and the first TV episode, "The New Nanny"
It always impressed me how different the TV renditions of the stories were compared to the original book versions - naturally, not even Uncle Grizzly can get away with *everything* on television nowadays...
ReplyDeleteEven so, I do remember getting hooked by this episode first time, which had lead to a fond following since. And delighted more to see - or rather recognise - some of the animators from HA's other shows, going by their styles. Would be grand to know who animated what prior specific scenes =)
