Halloween @ Cambridge Film Festival

The 36th Cambridge Film Festival runs from 20th to 27th of October. This year, four episodes of Grizzly Tales have been chosen as part of their Halloween programme for Kids


Here's the festival's synopsis for the screening at 10am on the 27th October at the Art's Picture House, Cambridge

"If you are looking for something slightly spooky in the run up to Halloween, then join us on the for a selection of child-friendly scary short films!
Alma, a little girl, skips through the snow covered streets of a small town. Her attention is caught by a strange doll in an antique toy shop window. Fascinated, Alma decides to enter. 
9 is a sentient rag doll who appears to be the last of his kind, living in the ruins of a decaying, post-apocalyptic Earth. Hunting 9 relentlessly is the Cat Beast, a mechanical monster wearing a cat's skull for a head. Will 9 survive? 
Granny O'Grimm's Sleeping BeautyWe all know the Grimm fairy tales. Granny's are grimmer! Granny O'Grimm, a seemingly sweet old lady, terrifies her little granddaughter at bedtime with her version of the Sleeping Beauty fairytale. 
Grizzly Tales For Gruesome Kids: Getting a haircut? Eating spaghetti? You may think these sound like very ordinary things to do. But see just how grizzly they can really be! Frights and laughs aplenty in these cautionary tales for lovers of squeam."
